To provide a service that gives our clients insight into the state of their top drive shafts, we can use custom tools and phased array ultrasonics to volumetrically map the top drive shaft from the inside out. This method will allow us to completely 3D scan the top drive shaft for any (fatigue related) flaws and corrosion, in service and without the need for disassembly!
